A lot of great brown water has been enjoyed in Libbie Mill. And this 22yr Canadian Whisky release is no different. This 155 proof whisky will baffle you with it’s sweetness and complexity. As well as be a great unique single barrel to share with friends.”
I will also support the home team … but honestly this is some great juice here. Def drinks lower than the 155 proof point. The suttle sweetness and 🍯 & 🍫 notes are the perfect combination with the punch of the proof! @rivercitywhiskey is doing some amazing things… yall go get this bottle while supplies last!

Not many people talk about out this bottle from Buffalo Trace. Not much talk, not very common, not much flavor or tasting notes either. Pretty low proof and the nose flavor and finish all agree. Nothing really special about this bottle.
Muted fruits on the nose and palate but leaves a lot to be desired. Not my favorite bottle.

This is a bourbon that serves as a good barometer for any bourbon enthusiast, imo.
The patience, price searching, and general hunting to find this entry level bottle will teach you skills when you are going after your true unicorns.
And this is a bourbon you don't have to mind asking yourself, "is it worth it?"
I would say the answer is: Yes.
The flavor profile is something that anyone can enjoy. The proof point may be low for most experienced enthusiasts, but the lingering finish and flavor make up for the lower proof.
It is a bourbon that has something for everyone. But, the caveat is that you need to cultivate the patience and searching to find it for a price that will not overshadow it's merits.

First post! What is everyone drinking today?
We went in on this sample of Old Dominick’s 8yr Reserve Bourbon.
Banana Milkshake for days!
Nose and Palate give banana cream pie or a DQ Banana Split Blizzard.
The finish lasted for a short bit, but gave that nice spice that comes from the proof. At just 100, the proof had a great presence.
Really enjoyed and ordered 2 bottles. 😎
